Day 2 (Mia Franks) - Getting wood and starting the box project!

     Today was a new day! and we started it making our purchase list. On it is mostly, the different wood we want, the length and width of the wood, and extra things we might need. for some people, it was only wood that they need for their projects but for me I need a couple other things other than wood. For example, I need hinges for my DM screen, so it can open and close. and clips, for the inside of the board so I can hold up my notes in there.

The second thing we did today was go to the lumber yard to pick up some of our wood. The wood we mainly picked up is the ones we are going to be using for the box project, but we also got a little bit of wood for our personal projects, mainly a very big flat sheet of my wood that I am sharing with someone else in our group. Then we came back to school.

Also, while we were going to and from the lumber yard, I got to read a good amount of pages of the book I am reading, Cress. And now I have less than 100 pages till the end of the book! 

We got back to school, and had lunch. After lunch, we can go back to the La Tinkeria, and finish milling our other planks from yesterday. Some of us were done with that part, while others (like myself) we not done and had to spend a bit more time to finish them. Then we started work on our box project which is mainly recutting and milling again, to make the boards into the proper size we want them to be. and that is what we did for the rest of the after noon, other than cleanup at the end of the school day.
