Day 4 (Leo) - Box assembly & another trip to the lumberyard

The plan at the start of the day was to cut rabbets and dados until around 11 and then go back to Clark's lumberyard so that people could get more wood for their personal projects. After that the plan was to glue our boxes together. At the start of the day I got all my rabbets and dados done pretty early so I hung around and helped other people adjust the sawblade. Our plans changed for the trip to Clark's as we were not able to use the bus other than right after lunch, so we went after lunch. Once we got back I was trimming down my base and lid so that they could fit. We did a dry fit before gluing so that we could make sure that all the pieces would fit together. After the dry fit we laid out the pieces end to end and taped them together so that they wouldn't move, then we glued them. I was able to glue all my sides together without incident. When I was clamping my base on afterwards it cracked into two pieces. I plan to use resin to hold the pieces together, which I will do tomorrow.
