Today was a weird almost short day. The day started with me planning out have much walnut wood I would need for the DM screen. I got a very big piece of paper and covered it in drawings, notes, and math about it. This took about an hour. Then I worked putting notches into my walls for the glass (maybe plastic is what the glass thing is). the first time I did it I made a mistake and the notches were in the wrong place, but luckily this is a mistake that doesn't effect anything other than show my mistake. but I did the notchs again and this time they were right we they needed to be. then I worked on cutting out the back and the glass front for my box, you can call these the top and the bass of my box if you would like. then I had to leave for a doctors appointment.
when I got back from the doctors appointment I had only 10 minutes to eat my lunch, and that was probably the fastest I have ever had to eat my food.
then we went back to the lumber yard, to get the rest of the materials we need for our personal projects. while I was there and was helping to get the wood boards, I got a horrible splinter (not to sound like a baby), but the people who own the place was nice enough to give me their splinter removing tool. it was really weird, with a pointed end and at the other end was a shovel like tool. when I finally got it out I yelled "I got it out with the weird tool!" because it took me forever to get it out and no one else knew how to really use it.
when we came back to school we finished glueing up the boxes walls and backs. since I have a picture frame I don't have to do the last part because the back of the picture frame is supposed to come off. also my box (picture frame) is much smaller than everyone else's it was really difficult to make it stay aligned, so Mr. Grisbee helped to make a lot of clamps stay on it in a weird contraption sort of way. and thats how my day went, personally I would say today was a great day! (and I am really excited to make and use the dice tower)
