Day 6 (Mia Franks) - Making boards for the DM screen and finishing up the picture frame

Today was a day in which I felt like I needed to stress-about-everything-but-nothing-is-actually-needed-to-be-stressed-out-about, kinda day. Why? well I don't really know. I think it was something from not having to worry about something in a while.

Anyway, I got to school and spent most of the morning cutting the Walnut 1x8x10 into 1.5 inch strips and cutting them up into the outline wood I need for the screen part of the DM screen. I thought I was going to spend the day making the (box) dice tower for the DM screen but I did not. it did take a long while to cut the strips into the right size I need for the outline wood.

the book I listen to today was The Book of Lost Hours, which I believe I will probably finish later today. its a pretty good book, one with unexpected twists and a bit of the time travel feeling.

later in the afternoon, after working on the planks some more I did the metal finish and then the original finish again on the picture frame. Then after it dried for a while I added the backs to it, to make it a real picture frame. now all it needs to do now is dry for a while and it is done! though, when screwing in the brackets it did split off some of the wood. So, this picture frame is not the greatest in the world, probably on the lower end, like one of worst, or maybe mid, the most mistake-full picture frame ever, that wasn't destroyed. at least all the bad is on the back so it won't be seen when it is hanging on the wall.

and that is everything we did today!
