Day 8 (Mia Franks) - Working on the dice tower and DM screen

today was a i'm-going-to-miss-this kinda day. out of all the terms I have done in total (i've done four terms in total) this is my 2nd favorite. its one that you won't think you would learn a lot, but you do, and its not a you learn and move on from it. its more of a you learn from it and use it, over and, over and, over again. this term felt very productive, and nothing bad really happened that wasn't fixable, unlike a lot of other terms. I think I am going to miss this term a lot.

first me and Mr. Grisbee spent time cutting off the edge of the plexy glass panel for the dice tower. it was tricky but it looks great and fits into the tower perfectly!

I spent the morning cutting the wood for the inside of the dice tower. this took a while and I made some mistakes along the way and had to cut again or improve from past disigns.

today I listen more to little thieves. when I first started this book, I kinda disliked it. but now since I am more than halfway through it I think I like the book. the main character is definitely not my favorite character. it's either the shapeshifter or the love interest.

in the afternoon I started glueing the wood inside the dice tower. and it turned out great! I did a test and rolled some dice in it and I can roll 3 dice in it at the same time! I love it.

I also did a dry fit once it was done drying and it looks amazing!

after, I had to sand the panels and the tower so I can put on the finish later.

and that is everything we did today!
